Invisalign – The clear alternative to braces
Almost Invisible
Invisalign aligners are virtually invisible. This means you can always smile with confidence. Whereas traditional braces have uncomfortable wires and metal brackets for everyone to see.
Enjoy food when you want to
Invisalign aligners are made with flexible material, making them very easy to take in and out. Braces, however, are there to stay. A big advantage of this is that you can enjoy your favourite foods any time you want.
More Comfortable
The state of the art technologies behind Invisalign aligners ensures only gradual and gentle teeth movement throughout your treatment. Whereas braces can irritate and cause pain.
Less visits to your Dentist
Unlike braces where you have to visit your Dentist every 3-4 weeks, Invisalign requires less visits to the clinic which is usually only once every 6-8 weeks.
Clearer Timeframes keeping you in the picture
Invisalign treatment is much easier to see in terms of progress of your treatment. Braces can only give you an approximate total time frame at the point where treatment commences.
Save time
Due to the removability of Invisalign alignersyou can still floss and brush your teeth as normal. Braces on the other hand can be difficult for you to clean. Getting in between the metal brackets and the like can be very difficult and time consuming. How does the Invisalign process work?
What is Invisalign?
The Invisalign® Treatment Process:
It’s as easy as 1,2,3,4
Step 1:
Consult and examination to determine if Invisalign is right for you.
Step 2:
Technical data collected as well as specific instructions by Dr Mallapu are forwarded to the Invisalign Lab.
Using advanced computer technology, we produce a virtual 3D model of your new smile. This will show you just how amazing your smile will be.
Once you are happy with your new smile, Invisalign aligners are specifically made for you.
Step 3
Each fortnight you will replace your existing aligners with the next set in your series.
Every 6 to 8 weeks, you will visit our clinic to check your progress and make any necessary adjustments.
The clear nature of Invisalign means you get to see results on a weekly basis.
Step 4:
Once you have worn the aligners for the required amount of time, a retainer is worn for a short period to maintain the achieved results.
