Dr. Lakshmi Sowjanya Battula

Dr. Battula is well known for her excellent care and pain free dentistry. Her practice areas include restorative and aesthetic dentistry, minor oral surgery, children’s dentistry, preventative, periodontal and clear aligner therapy.

She carries vast experience in private and public practice. Graduated Bachelor of dental surgery in 2007, completing her Australian ADC accreditation from Sydney in 2011. She does wide range of clinical and academic activities, regularly updates herself to changing field of dentistry.

She mentors final year Doctor of dental surgery (DDS); Bachelor of oral health (BOH) students from Melbourne dental school and provides training to new graduates. She is well known for mentoring clinicians with clinical challenges. She completed her Dento- alveolar surgery training from Univeristy of Melbourne and carries passion for pain free minor oral surgery. She is an advanced radiological interpreter Tier 2 for DHSV. She is also currently part of Dental Champions program.

She strongly believes in biomimetic approach to general dentistry- conserving remaining tooth structure, preserving natural tooth structure as much as possible, keeping their natural strength, form and function.
A Gippslander since last 8yrs, she has fallen in love with country lifestyle and community. She aspires to provide best care for her clients.
